Pros and cons of HEBREW - ENGLISH Dictionary v.v. | Prolog app for iPhone and iPad

HEBREW - ENGLISH Dictionary v.v. | Prolog app good for

Designed well, clean and neat UI, loads of definitions and transliterations. Well worth the price!
I love these bilingual dictionaries, but please make one for arabic.
The best dictionaries are made by those who converse in the language. I really like this dictionary since many words expand to include common Israeli expressions or a way a word may be used in Israel. This dictionary is essential when studying Ulpan Ivrit. Plus vowels are included. Thank you.

Some bad moments

The dictionary per se is very good and extensive, but: The old UI used to be a lot better, even though it was far from perfect (look for the Prologs German-Hebrew dictionary app for a comparison). Now there is this constant header that eats up space - for what? And once you have looked up a word the back button isnt any more on the top left - as with any other iDevice app - but at the bottom, and with a symbol that rather depicts a refresh action than back. And what are those two tabs for?? Couldnt get my head around it. For input language? Its sufficient to switch the iDevices keyboard language. When switching/multitasking between apps the splash screen ALWAYS shows before freeing the screen for the word input. This is particularly annoying when you as a learner are reading e.g. HaAretz article in Safari and need to look up words in the dictionary from time to time. It would be sufficient in my eyes to show the splash screen only at the very first start of the app. I want this app to be ready INSTANTLY! One last thing: Why cant I look up a verb according to its 3rd person sg past form? Furthermore and beyond that, why not having a more flexible input that allows for conjugated and/or pre-/suffixed words, like morfix.co.il has? There you can you can type in words as you find them in a real text, like שהאהבות, and will get the correct base word(s), like in this case אהבה. This is extremely helpful for beginners.
How to say the word in Hebrew !! Ill give 5 stars if u up date .. Please add audio. Audio !!
Recently the app is not workng at all, it crashes after downloading the dictionary data. They didnt answer my emails.
Dont waste your time on this cumbersome and way outdated dictionary. A far better alternative is the free app from Morfix. I wish I could get my money back from this useless piece of trash.
